Audio and Video not always sync in Preview

When previews are started from the chi, the audio is sometimes starting from the beginning of the comp, while video is starting from the cti..

The preview system seems kind of broken - lots of issues. (this site is also acting strange - the cursor disappears in the input field, all kinds of artefacts)

Hi, thanks for reporting this! In the Preview panel, select the shortcut you’re using and check that Play From is set to Current Time. Preview settings can differ between shortcuts. Here’s Adobe’s guide.

If it’s already set to Current Time, could you share a screenshot of that shortcut’s Preview settings and a short recording of the audio and video starting out of sync? Please also let us know if it happens in more than one project.
