audio drops out of an embedded Premiere sequence in After Effectsafter editing sequence in Premiere.

I have embedded (using Adobe Dynamic Link) a premiere sequence in AE. After adding animations, I had to go back to premiere to edit the sequence a bit. When I go back to AE, visually, I can see the edit that I made reflecting in AE, but there is no audio. I've tried just about everything to get it back...but the only thing that seems to work is I have to close the AE project, and open it back up again. Then the audio plays fine. It seems like the video is updating in AE when I make a change to the embedded sequence in Premiere, but the audio does not sync...in fact it drops out completely until I close and then reopen the AE project. Then it is totally fine. Am I missing something obvious, or is this a bug?
