Audio Hardware - Default Output (Not updating automatically)

This has been an issue for both Premiere Pro and After Effects. For both IOS/MAC and Window users. For years and different versions.

When changing from speakers to plugging in earphones or headphones, the "Default Output" doesn't automatically change and pick up the change in devices. 

I am working on Windows 11, After Effects. This happened with the last 2023 version and still with the 2024 version. But earlier in the year the 2023 version did pick up changes in audio automatically, I know this issue repeats itself throughout the years. I have seen multiple posts on this and it happened in 2012 too to me.

Can this be fixed somehow for once and for all?
