Hi @dbDavideBoscolo,

Thank you for reporting this issue! We are also able to reproduce it and have opened a ticket to investigate a fix for a future version of After Effects.

Thanks again,

- John, After Effects Engineering Team

Ups, sorry Mylenium, there isn't a master property.

Master properties override layers's standard behaviors, so AE must think turning off the layer is required to retain the appearance and functionality. Perhaps you need todelete and rewire this.

Not a big issue though, I can live with it if it's a once-in-a-year glitch.

Some effects on the White solid, but even if I delete them I keep having the same problem. Even after restarting AE. The 'Car' precomp has a master property.
Here's the project anyway: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pf809mzg8ciu2os/This.aep?dl=0

Any expressions or effects applied that references other layers? That's indeed quite weird.

AE 23.0.0

Windows 11 Pro 22H2

Not sure what triggers this behaviour as it normally doesn't happen.

That's unexpected.  Which version number of After Effects with which OS version is this happening with?

For example, I am not seeing this with After Effects 23.0.0 build 59 under macOS Monterey 12.5.1.
