BUG: AE doesn't call Adobe fonts, needs PS to be open first

If my psd uses adobe fonts, and I convert those font layers to text in AE, the font will be loaded as long as I keep PS is open.
But when later on after I boot my pc, I'll open the project's aep, AE doesn't load the correct fonts.

To fix it I'll have to close AE, open the psd on PS and then open AE so the correct font will show on AE.

But that is a bug imo, and if someone else takes the project they might not know that this is not the proper font. Please fix this, it's a issue I've been having for more than 2 years

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to report this.

I have been working recently on upgrading AE's handling of Fonts so puzzles like this are very timely for me to pursue and I am interested in exploring this more, if you have the time to work with me through it.

From your description, I have no initial guess as to what the interaction between the two products might be in this way.

Can you reach out to me at douglas.waterfall@adobe.com and I can gather more details from you.

Thanks in advance,

Douglas Waterfall
