Can't Adjust RotoBrush or Clone Stamp Brush Size/Settings

I am unable to change the brush settings when using the RotoBrush or the Clone Stamp tool. All Brush options are completely greyed out. This is a consistent and repeatable bug for me. This bug exists when operating in Safe Mode.  

 

There is a workaround – if I select the Paint Brush tool, adjust the brush size, and then switch back to RotoBrush or Clone Stamp, the brush options become adjustable again. It's annoying, but I could live with it, except sometimes switching between the two will cause AE to crash (the crash is not consistent, nor am I able to predictably repeat it). 

 

It's a small bug, but a bug nonetheless. 

 

I am using AE 25.5.0 build 4 on a M1 Max Macbook Pro with 64GB RAM running macOS 15.6 (Sequoia).

Hi @lehestro 

Can you please post a screen recording of this? I just tried to reproduce what you said in AE 25.6 and couldn't.

 

Also, Safe Mode isn't for working, but is instead for troubleshooting. Is there an issue you're encountering that's requiring you to work in Safe Mode?
