Clicks in the 'Window' menu register on AE's title bar

Clicking on the ▲ menu item in the 'Window' menu registers as a click on the Title Bar underneath it.

Steps to reproduce:

 - Open multiple compositions until the 'Window' menu requires scrolling

OR Add Script Panels until the 'Window' menu requires scrolling

 - Click the ▲ menu item while it's over the Title Bar

Two rapid clicks will resize the After Effects window.

It would be nice to be able to scroll the mouse in the 'Window' menu.

Sorry for the late reply, hope you had a great holiday.

Removing the scripts does work when a limited amount of compositions are open. Everything is fine if the "Window" menu doesn't overlap the titlebar but as soon as it does, the problem returns.

Every open composition appears in the "Window" menu as an item so it can easily extend over the titlebar even without scripts. Both increase the amount of menu items and when it gets too big, it overlaps the titlebar.

I might have just replied to myself by accident. In case you're relying on notifications, my reply is below

Thanks for sharing the details, Mike. Do you mind removing all the scripts and plug-ins and then testing?

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Nishu

I just checked and it occurs on CS6, 2020, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

[EDIT] And probably other versions too, I just don't have them installed right now

I haven't changed anything on my computer in a few years. I only noticed it happening when I started adding multiple script panels I made. That caused the 'Window' menu to get much bigger and now it's permenantly like this so long as I keep my scripts.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro (22H2) 64Bit

Hi Mike, that's not good.

What version of After Effects are you using? Can you tell me your system specs? When did the problem start? Have you changed anything on your computer lately?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu
