Color picker selects a layer rather than a color

In the text layer, I used the color picker towards the composition screen but be not chosen color and the layer in composition is selected.

 

The speed of the work is affected.

Does anyone have the same experience as me? PLZ HELP TT

Thank you for reporting this issue. Is this occurring in the latest After Effects 2023 version? If so, would you be able to provide a screen recording of the behavior?
