Composition viewport not rendering

Hello! We're experiencing a new issue across multiple computers & users. The viewport will not render, it only displays black. Depending on Resolution/DownSample and zoom factor, sometimes the viewport will render with completely random colors or a digital glitch pattern. This bug is affecting multiple project files and/or comps randomly. It does not matter the source/comp resolution or source image format.

After Effects 25.0.1
AMD Ryzen 9
GPUs are variable RTX

Windows 10 & 11

What we've tried:
Uninstalling/reinstalling AE (discarding preferences)

Rolling back to previous AE versions

Updating GPU drivers

Disabling hardware acceleration
Purging cache
Caps lock is OFF
Different file formats and source resolution/sizes
Removing plugins

We don't know what else to attempt and this is a critical disruption. What info do you need? What can we try now? Thank you!

Thank you for the swift response! That's a good idea, we didn't look into display adapters.

We didn't find any adapters for Intel. We did find adapters for Parsec virtual and Meta on some computers. We removed those to try and it did not resolve the issue. The problem persists.

We'll try whatever else you think might work or narrow down variables. Thank you!

Do you have Intel GPU's enabled on those machines? We've seen reports that some Intel drivers are causing issues when there are also NVIDIA drivers installed.

Here are some steps to try:

• Close After Effects
• Go to the Device Manager (Run >> devmgmt.msc)
• Select Display Adapter, Right click on  the "Intel UHD graphic card".
• Select "Update Driver"
• Select "Browse my Computer"
• Select "Let me Pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer".
• Select "Microsoft Display Adapter".
•  Launch After Effects.

Let us know.
