Consistent crash when adjusting camera or Z-positions of 3d Illustrator layers

Windows, 26.3.0 x67 (but also present in current beta)

I have an Illustrator file I’m using for a simple parallax effect by moving a one-node camera on X. I’m getting a consistent crash by moving this camera in the scene, OR by using [Edit: NOT Quick Offset!] Proportional Scrubbing (on Z Position) to adjust the Z positions on all the layers. This is typically triggering a chance-to-save crash, but has also given me a full-system lockup.

.ai design and screen recording attached.

Thank you for reporting this, @Kyle Hamrick. I’ve imported the Illustrator file and made it 3D in front of a one-node Camera, but I’m not encountering the crash. Are you able to share an .aep that uses the .ai file in the setup that is crashing for you?

    Thanks again,
