Dragging Keyframes has extreme Input Lag in most projects?

I've had this problem since the first version 25 of AE but it still hasn't been fixed and I haven't read anything about this anywhere yet, so I am wondering if this is a common problem for others or just me? If someone else has this problem, did anyone ever figure out a solution? Could it be a plugin, preset or menu option that does this? I attatched a video showing this problem. It never happened before this version and suddenly is always there.

Thanks John! Yes, it is the After Effects Properties panel that does this. When closing the tab, everything works like it's supposed to.

@michak19395341 If you close either the Motion extension or the Properties panel, does the responsiveness improve?

Thanks. Yeah, the Beta is definitely a bit improved compared to the current version but it still has a slight delay compared to the other, pretty fluid animations in the UI. I guess it's fine with the new version but it still has a delay even in the Beta.

Thanks Nishu.

I have:

Windows 10 Pro, 10.0.19045

AMD Ryzen 3900x

64GB RAM

RTX 4070 TI Super

And it does not work any better in Safe Mode with all Third-Party Plugins disabled.

Thanks for sharing the details. Can you install the latest beta version of After Effects and test whether it works better? A fix for a similar issue was recently rolled out in the beta version.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu

Thanks for writing in, michak19395341.

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? What happens if you run After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled? Does it work any better?

Let us know.

Thanks,
Nishu
