Dynamic link with Premiere breaks whenever I save AE project

I tend to work a lot with both Premiere and Adobe After effects, and the nature of the projects I am doing requires me to use AE projects inside Premiere a lot. Everything works like a charm until AE crushes for whatever reason. After this when I reopen AE every time I save the AE project and go back to Premiere the dynamic link between AE and Premiere appears to be broken and I need to relink the AE source file.

The problem persists no matter what I do, restarts, reboots, and even reinstalling all Adobe software don't help. 

Quick search in the google shows that the issue is quite common, but I haven't been able to find a solution. Has anyone had a luck with this one? It is extremely irritation and slows down my work dramatically. I am running the latest AE and Premiere on my Macbook Pro with OS Monterey if it matters.
