Error: "the file you are attempting to open was created with AE version 23.1 (Windows 64)

Hello! I'm trying to open my Ae File but I get this error message:  "The file you are attempting to open was created with AE version 23.1 (Windows 64) and cannot be opened whit this version"
The current installed version is 23.2, but even if I replace it with 23.1, the file won't open and I get the same error. What can I do?

Without specific info on the contents of the file we can't really tell you much. Either it was created with a Beta build that embedded unsupported data e.g. for the in-development 3D features or properties panel or it got otherwise tainted, perhaps by some third-party plug-in embedding data. Anyway, it's really impossible to determine without more info.
