Every new document corrupted when reopening,

Hi

 

I've been using After Effects for many years but never had any issues. Just recently every one of my new files is fine on the day i create it. I can go back in and out with no problem. If i don't come back to them for a few days and then reopen, they are always corrupted. I get lots of error messages such as:

 

'File exists but couldn't be open for reading'

Unable to open file'

'Conforming failed. Error code 1610153782'

 

This is a nightmare at the moment as i have clients waiting on jobs and i can supply nothing. Any advice greatly appreciated.

That's not ideal. Sorry to hear about the issue.

What version of After Effects are you using? Are you on MacOS or Windows? Are your project files saved in a folder that is synced with the cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc)? If possible, could you share one of the files with me to test? Feel free to share them via DM if you do not want to share publicly.
