EXR Drawing incorrect frames

I have an issue where a particular EXR sequence pulls in either a black frame or the start frame on certain frames in the sequence.

Opening the EXR is DJV Imaging does not present the issue.
Copying the EXR locally and importing does not fix the issue.
Purging all caches does not fix the issue - sometimes the preview of the EXR looks correct without pulling into a comp. Pulling it into a comp the issue presents itself.
Changing from hardware rendering to software rendering does not fix the issue
Downgrading AFX to 25.3.2 fixes the issue

Same here. Only solution I have found is open the offending frame and resave in photoshop. I am using no compression on resave (not sure if that matters). 15 minutes of animation with 100,000 frames in various layers is a pain. EXR frames that were working fine in prior version of after effects are now problematic as well. Seems like maybe 1 out of every 300 frames has this issue.
