Hover on clip properties issue between AE & PP

When I hover over a clip in Premiere, a gray box appears with the clip’s properties. If I toggle to After Effects with a keyboard shortcut without moving the mouse, the gray box remains. It doesn’t matter if I move the mouse now that I’m in AE, the box stays and shows the properties from the clip I hovered on in Premiere. 

I’m in Premiere 26.0.2 and After Effects 26.0, but this has been an issue for a few versions.
