How to fix (Error: After Effects error: File ".aex" is not a valid file type for import.)?

 I tried to put it in the Plug-ins file; it does not appear in After Effects. I tried to put it from Adobe Bridge; it doesn't work. When I double-click it, this error appears.
Do you know how I can fix this?

Hi @zmaxplay_2256 ,

This is a plugin file from a 3rd party developer. If you run into issues installing it, you should contact their support, they will be able to assist you. Some plugins requires more than just copy-pasting the effect in the Plugin folder.
