Import file AE desktop, M4 Mac Studio

You have t initiate import twice from the menu to be able to select a file. This bugs been around for at least 6 months now, I thought it would be fixed by now. I have a project open, I go to the menu, select 'import' and nothing. Donitcadsin and get the Finder select screen. Anyone else seeing this?

Latest build. On an M4 Mac Studio. It seems more likely to happen when there are other apps (I often work jumping between AE, AI and PS) open or I'm coming back to AE after working in one of the other Adobe apps.

Hi @MFearing I just tried this in 25.4.0 (which was recently released) on my M4 Max MBP and I only have to click File > Import once beofre the Finder dialog pops up. Which version of AE are you using?
