Impossible d'importer des modèles 3D dans AE s'il n'est pas en anglais.

Il est impossible d’importer des modèles 3D ans AE si le logiciel n’est pas configuré en anglais et c’est insupportable de devoir à chaque fois redémarrer 2 fois le logiciel pour pouvoir importer des objets 3D…

 

Vos utilisateurs ne sont pas tous aux Etats Unis…

Voici l’écran que l’on obtient en essayant d’importer un .glb dans AE en français :

      Sorry to hear about the issue. Can you help us understand the issue better?

      • Are you able to import 3D models without any issue if After Effects is installed in English? Is it happening with a specific 3D model file or all of them?
      • What version of After Effects are you using, and what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
      • Have you installed Trapcode? Can you try disabling all third-party plug-ins (Effects > Manage Effects) and see if that makes a difference?

      Hey Nishu, thanks for your answer.

      The issue is with every type of 3D files, and there’s no problem if AE is in English.

      I’m using the latest version of AE, but it was the same with previous versions.

       

      I have Trapcode, but I already tried disabling all 3rd party plugins > no difference.

      Thanks for sharing the details. I reached out to the devs, and it looks like a known issue. It happens when plug-in adds a 3D installer that's overwriting After Effects’. If disabling them didn’t help, you may need to remove the plug-ins.
