Intel Arc Graphics on Core Ultra 7 155H detected by GPUSniffer but Advanced 3D unavailable and GPU memory reported as 0 MB

Symptoms

  • GPU Information shows Vendor/Device blank
  • GPU Memory shows 0 MB
  • Draft 3D unavailable
  • Advanced 3D renderer unavailable
  • Only Classic 3D and Cinema 4D renderers appear

AE's GPU Sniffer is:

  • Detecting Arc GPU through OpenCL/OpenGL
  • NOT using DirectX compute
  • Therefore not qualifying it for certain GPU features

    Hi Mukul, thanks for the additional diagnostic screenshots.

    Looking at your DxDiag output, your dedicated Display Memory (VRAM) is 128 MB. The 4278 MB "Approx. Total Memory" figure is almost entirely Shared Memory borrowed from your system RAM, not dedicated VRAM. This is normal for integrated GPUs like yours. Advanced 3D specifically requires a minimum of 4GB of dedicated VRAM. Check out After Effects system requirements: https://adobe.ly/4vNdNfO

    Classic 3D and Cinema 4D renderers should still work for you. Hope that clarifies what's happening!
