Issue with Media Encoder Glitch during PNG Sequence Export

I'm experiencing a glitch in Adobe Media Encoder when attempting to export compositions as PNG sequences. The issue manifests when I select the PNG sequence option; the preview glitches, resembling a visual distortion where a portion of the frame appears shifted (for example, an 8px slice from the left side of a red square is incorrectly patched to the right side).

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Cleared the Media Encoder cache.
  • Verified that all software is up to date.
  • Tried different codecs, but the issue is specific to PNG sequence exports.
  • Attempted to render directly from After Effects, but this approach is not optimal due to the number of projects and compositions I need to process (12 projects, each with 15 compositions).
  • Checked and adjusted composition settings, but this did not resolve the problem.
  • Restarted both applications and ensured my PC has sufficient resources.
  • Tried exporting to different output paths and formats, but the glitch persists only with PNG sequences.

We have seen this in the past when AE and AME are not running the same versions. I can see you said all apps are up to date, but please double check that.
