Low Memory Error - After Effects 24.5 - 192GB of RAM

We've had one report that turning off the Disk Cache on larger memory systems seems to have improved the situation for the user. You could try that and see if it helps. We are attempting to reproduce the issue with the disk cache enabled to see what is going on.

@jenkmeister17177426 also just to help narrow things down. Project that crash with low memory error in AE, render fine when rendered from Media Encoder.

I have updated AE to 24.6.1. I don't know if there is any change, but so far I have had fewer memory problems. Mostly with full frame 4K or larger frame size. Difficult to do problem-solving in the middle of a client project.

I will mail some more information as soon as the problem appears.

Checking back on a fix, I've updated to the latest version and continue to have this error with virtually every project.

I have been dealing with this SAME issue for over a year now. Absolutely insane that it has not been sorted out yet. I can't stand giving this company money anymore. This has been beyond frustrating.

M1 Mac Ultra

AE version 24.5

Just started a project with new AE version. I can't work with this ☹

Normal Prores 4444 with colour management - nothing new or special. Has been working for ages, before the update. Downgrading AE now. 

Quality control, anybody?

About 20% of the time, AE crashes out. Otherwise I click though severeal dozen errors and save.

It's an After Effects error, I'll try and get a screenshot for you.

One other question - the Low Memory errors - is that Windows telling you you're out of memory, or within After Effects itself?
