Magnification when switching between multi-view gets mixed up

Switching between 1-view and 2-views has unexpected maginification.

1. Set your Composition panel to 2-views

2. Set both views to different magnifications

3. Set the Composition panel to 1-view

I would expext the the first view to be visible at the magnification that it was set to. Instead, the first view takes on the magnification of the second view.

I wanted to bump this bug report because it’s really effecting my workflow. I’ve started to think twice about going to 2-views because I know I’m going to lose my place in my 1-view when I come back to it.

It’s also jarring for the users when I’m recording tutorials. I end up editing that part out so that the view change is seamless and behaves the way it should.

This original bug report was reported by me but I think the forum switch in the new year got it confused and it’s now listed under a different Mike Sevigny account.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for bumping up. Sorry that it hasn’t been resolved yet. Let me reach out to the product team and see what’s happening. I’ll request them to bump up the priority.

Thanks for your patience.

Best,

Nishu

Thanks for reporting it, Mike.

I am able to reproduce this behaviour on my end. I am filing a ticket so that it can be investigated.

Thanks,
Nishu
