Play from current time not working correctly

I’ve seen playback issues like this happen when the playhead position doesn’t update correctly. It might be worth checking whether the issue persists after restarting the app or resetting the playback position. Hopefully Adobe can reproduce it and provide a fix in a future update.

Hi, thanks for reporting this! Could you share your AE version and build, OS, and the preview shortcut you’re using? A short screen recording showing the CTI, cached frames, and where playback starts would help us investigate.

Does it happen in every project, or just this one?
