I cannot line up my playhead to. the start of my video in the timeline, I have tried unsnapping, snapping, clearing cache, pressing I + O. I have no clue how to fix this. All I want is to simply line up my playhead to my footage instead its causing such a headache. Truly unbearable please someone help me dearly.

Hey there @j_0125 ,

Thanks for posting the screenshots; those are always super helpful. I can see a few clues that might suggest what's going on:

  1. Your Project panel shows the selected clip has a frame rate of 30fps,
  2. Your Preview panel shows your comp's frame rate is set to 24fps (values surrounded by parenthesis mean "Auto," which match your comp settings).
  3. The white highlighted area tied to the Current Time Indicator shows the start of the frame, yet your clip sits in between two frames.

Your clips are actually parked on sub frames. This can happen if you either changed your comp frame rate after adding footage or if you shifted your clips in time with the awesome new Quick Offset feature, a script, or some other methods.

Is this by any chance what happened? If so, the fix is simple—select your clips and move them to the left or right just a smidge; they'll snap to the nearest whole frame.

Thanks,
