Preview flickers all the time

Hello everyone,

Since the 2025 update I have the problem that the preview flickers extremely. This is extremely annoying and I have already tried various things to fix the problem (reinstalling, adjusting settings to my rather weak PC, and so on).

I have not installed any plug-ins and
is running version 25.2.2

My PC:
Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 165U 1.70 GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 11 Enterprise

Unfortunately I have no idea how to reproduce the problem.
Do you have any ideas where the problem could be coming from?

What's your screen resolution? I have a 4k monitor and my Ae was stuttering very badly, even at very low resolution (less than a quarter). I had to set Ae to automatically launch in low res, which used to be a preference in previous OS versions but now it has to be done using an Automator program (I'm on mac). That solved the issue.

The Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer and Footage Panels option. Try turning that off.

I didnt see a highlighted option at your screenshot. But I tryed a few different settings and restarted the programm a lot. Every time the flicker wouldn`t change
