Problem with exported video from After Effects through Media Encoder

Hi, I have a problem with exporting through AE or ME. The whole process from creating to exporting always goes fine and without issues, but when I want to open my exported video (exported as an mp4 file through Media Encoder), suddenly, the file is damaged and the video cannot be played. After Effects and Media Encoder shows no problem with the file while I am working on it or exporting it. Strangely, when it is exported from another device (in yesterday´s case from Macbook Pro) the exported video is fine and it can be played without any issues. Can somebody please help me find out where exactly the problem is? I assume it is with my computer, but I always make sure that I have the latest software and that my graphics card is updated as well.
Thank you.

Hi @Kajka28222017nxin,

Thank you for reporting this issue. We've released a patch today, 23.2.1 for both After Effects and Media Encoder, that contains a fix for an issue where files with non-Latin characters in their filenames failed to import. Would you mind updating After Effects & Media Encoder to 23.2.1 and let us know if you are again able to import the files in question?

Thank you again for reporting this issue,

- John, After Effects Engineering Team

Without any system info we can't tell you much. Start by not saving your files to the desktop, but a dedicated storage folder on the root level of the volume/ drive. Similarly, there is a known bug where special characters in file and folder names can throw off things, so don't use those. Anything more will require specific info ohn what computer you are actually using, render settings, save locations, contents of the project and all that good stuff.
