random frame render issues in AE 26.2.1

I’m working in 32-bit float for a broadcast UHD job, and when I try to render final output as a ProRes QuickTime, random frames (around 1 in 50) render with colour/luma shifts. It’s completely random -  I had to clear memory/cache until it rendered successfully.  And for longer clips, I was able to get it to render by manually placing single-frame adjustment layers with a levels effect (not set) over the frames that had the glitches.
This is a serious bug. I tried render with multiprocessing disabled, but it still happens. I can supply projects and examples showing the issues to AE engineers if needed. Anyone else having this issue?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. Along with the projects and examples, please share your system specifications as well. Also, does it happen in a specific project? Have you tried exporting using Media Encoder?

Feel free to share with me via DM. I can send them to the engineering team for investigation.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks,

    Nishu

Thanks Nishu, I’ll package up a project and send it over and you can see if you can replicate the issue at your end (I’ll also include the rendered output with the errors).  I didn’t export using Media Encoder since in the past that seemed to cause even more issues with random frame errors (likely GPU plugin errors) than rendering it directly in AE.
My system spec is a M4 Max Mac Studio with 128GB RAM, running the latest version of Sequoia (not Tahoe yet -  because… well Tahoe is very mixed bag of an upgrade!)

Perfect! I am on Mac as well.

    Looking forward.

    Thanks,

I’ll also add - I’m not using any third-party plugins on this project either
