Right-click and drop-down menus don't work

Hi @Legion_Derolon,

Thank you for that additional info and the screen recording. The previous issues you mentioned were due to either internet connectivity interfering with the menus (Windows) or dialogs interfering with app focus on startup (Mac). Are you using any type of VPN, firewall, or proxy filtering? Are any dialogs being shown with After Effects starts up?

 

You should be able to view the version of After Effects in the Creative Cloud app. Choose "Video" from the Categories on the left, then scroll to "Pro tool for video editing" to see After Effects listed with its current version.

 

Additionally, are you using any custom display settings or third-party UI mods for Windows? These can sometimes interfere with the UI of After Effects.

I've seen a couple of people with the same problem in old discussions about this bug on MAC OS with the same problem on Windows as well

Hello, here's a video of the bug. The version of AE is not possible to see because I just can not click on the help menu, but I tested on 4 different versions of AE past years, there was the same bug. Adobe Premiere there is no such thing.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Could you please provide a screen recording of the behavior? And what version of After Effects are you currently using? We have not heard other reports of this in the latest version (23.4).
