Rotobrush continuously crashing - After Effects can't continue: unexpected exception.

Rotobrush keeps crashing AE. I was on previous version yesterday of AE and I started encountering the error. I only have 1 shot left to complete. I updated AE, and still rotobrush crashes. I made a consolidated version of the project, and deleted current rotobrush all other effects, Started rotoing from strach, and then crash. I've cleared caches, restarted and as i already said, checked and updated AE. 

I can not complete this project because of this crash. I thought maybe the refine edge might be crashing, so I tried with just normal brush, and it still crashed after a minute or 2 of using it.

Crash message:
"After Effects can't continue: Roto Brush & Refine Edge plug-in generated an unexpected exception."

I got this a lot too. I no longer use it, as it's become less reliable for some reason, and stabilize/track seems to have a similar issue, where it just keeps working or fails altogether. Tracking and masking feels like a forgotten module.

 

If you just bring your footage into a new file, does it work there?

To add on, I thought to rule out some other things, and prerendered the footage that I was rotoscoping to ProRes 24fps, it was a zoom recorded 360p 25fps mp4. So far, the prores 24fps has not yet crashed. Purhasp rotobrush has issue with the frame rate?

All comps had matched frame rate when rotobrushing. There is no mismatching.
