Settings lost with the 24.3 update

It's desperating that everytime I update After effects I lose all my setting: workspaces shortcuts, grid & label colors,... It's been years with the same problem and yet it goes on with this bug.

Please, stop deleting existing settings! Or at least give us a chance to keep them! I lose one morning of work with every update trying to leave the app with the adjustements I feel comfortable with.
