Shape fill window overblown and blocky

I've never had this issue before, and it's driving me nuts. The shape fill window is overblown and blocky with this one project. I first started having this problem on AE 25.6, so I downgraded to AE 25.5. It happened again, so I went down to AE 24.5. I didn't have an issue for a few hours, and now it's happened again. The color picker is also not working. It doesn't select the right hue.

I've tried trashing my preferences, emptying my disk cache, restarting After Effects. I've also tried exporting an XML and importing the timeline to a new Premiere file, and starting a new After Effects, and doing a Dynamic Link that way, and the problem keeps coming back.

The shape fill window looks normal when I start a new After Effects file without the Dynamic Link, and just doing a simple shape.

I'm on Apple M4 Pro, Sequoia 15.6.1. Has anyone had this before and tried fixing it?

Thanks!

Hi @pandapiscrabbler,

Thank for posting about this issue. The image you shared shows what the color picker displays when the project is set to an HDR color space. What color space is being used in the project where you're seeing that expanded color gamut? When you're using Dynamic Link, what color space is being use in Premiere?

Thank you for any further info,
