"Sticky" Mouse in 23.1

Finding that in the 23.1 update, I am getting issues where when I move something, e.g. a path point or a layer on the timeline, and let go of the left mouse button, AE doesnt follow suit, and so when I move the mouse it drags the path point with it. It's making it very difficult to use the program. 

 

This is on 2 seperate computers, both running Windows (one runs latest Windows 11 build, one runs latest Windows 10 build) and both with updated drivers for graphics cards (RTX 2080 and 2070), mouse drivers, etc. Mouse settings are normal.

 

Rolled back to v23.0 and not having the issue.

 

Be great if someone can isolate the problem and fix 🙂

    @JohnColombo17100380 Hi, yes GTX 1080 on windows 10. But problem seems to be fix with the 23.2 update. Thank you

      Hi @HuwDee,

      Thank you for reporting this issue. We are currently investigating and attempting to reproduce it ourselves in-house. Thank you as well for confirming that it was not happening in 23.0 and began with the 23.1 update.

       

      We are also having discussions with other customers here around this same issue, but I will keep the threads separate for ease of response.

        Same problem here, I just updated from 22.6 to 23.1, Windows 10, very annoying problem...

          I'm having the same experience and i see if a pause using "spacebar" sometimes don't pause or the indicator goes back randomly with AE 2023.1.
          I downgraded my projects to version 22 where it's not happening.

          I upload some footage using the AE Beta 23.2.
