The latest AE is the worst experience I've ever had with AE

I rarely go out of my way to post negative things about software, it's just not something I like to do and I hate to be the complaining guy... but the latest version of AE has caused me more headaches and frustration in one week than it ever has in the 15 years I've been in the industry.

Almost everything involving rendering files causes my PC to lock up momentarily (30 seconds to 1 minute), and then both monitors go black, then everything comes back but no preview is available in AE until I restart it. Occasionally, it also tells me "Adobe was blocked from accessing my GPU over the network", which makes no sense to me and seems like something they shouldn't be doing anyway. If I restart my computer, it works for a while but eventually the issues crop back up. When these issues first started, I didn't have time to roll all of my projects back to the previous version of AE... but the amount of time I'm losing at this point, I would've been better off doing so.

Reasons AE Crashes:

- Sometimes it's as simple as saving that will crash AE.

- If I press undo too many times in a row (or even just 3 times but in too-fast of a succession) it will lock up AE and crash moments later.

- 'Replace File' functionality rarely works, it just crashes most of the time

- Quick replace will crash it one out of every two times.

Things I've Tried:

- Turning off the GPU Acceleration helps a little bit, but not much.

- Re-Installing AE (Did nothing to help)

- Ran full system diagnostics and all of my PC and Windows 11. PC is extremely optimized, clean, and functioning properly in all manners. Only time I receive issues is when I use AE.

- Update Nvidia Studio Drivers (Didn't help)

- Revert to previous Nvidia Studio Drivers (Didn't help)

It Isn't My Hardware:

I thought maybe my GPU is becoming problematic, but when I can run Unreal Engine 5.1 and render out 6k frames in real time without a single issue for hours on end, I'm left with the assumption that my GPU is not in fact the problem at all. It's not the CPU, either.

Conclusion:

I'm left to assume that this new version of AE is just extremely unstable – at least, on Windows 11 – and just doesn't work like it should. What's maddening is that it was totally fine before, even with the latest update that came out a couple days ago it doesn't function properly. It feels like it's almost impossible to get anyone's attention at Adobe, so here we are. The problem is, it's unacceptable for professional software to be so buggy (which worked totally fine previously) especially when so many people need it for their jobs. Adobe needs to stop breaking things with their "updates" and start seeking ways to make the application more stable as they update it.
