Update issue

Hey,

 

I have this issue since the new version of After effects.

In this case I use multipass exr files. And when I extract them and want to look at them the program doesn't update the viewer. I can scroll through the timeline and my camera/nulls are moving but the viewer doesn't update and keeps the same image on display.

This is unworkable.

The only fix is to restart after effects but in many cases when turning a layer on or off the same thing happens and the viewer freezes again...

Let me know if this is a problem happens to more people so that this can be adresses. I think it is absurd for the amounts of times this app did not work correctly. It should be possible to stop the moneyflow to adobe at these times. This costs me money and problems.

Thank you for reporting this issue, and for your patience in our response. What you're describing sounds like a possible issue with GPU drivers, but it is difficult to tell without more information about your system. Are you still experiencing this issue in the latest 23.2.1 update to After Effects? If so, please share your system details and a screen recording if possible.
