Video Preview freezes

Hey, 

 

im using this computer: 

 

Processor: 2,6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7

RAM: 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Graphic Card: AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4 GB

Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

System: macOS Monterey 12.5.1 (21G83)

 

Unfortunately i cannot preview the video in real time because it freeezes. 

Do you have any idea, how to solve this?

Hi @ellektrae,

Thank you for reporting this issue. Would you be able to create and share a screen recording of the freezing you are experiencing? Is the whole application freezing, or only the preview?

 

We are also aware of memory allocation issues in version 22.5-23.0, but many are related to third-party plug-ins that are leaking memory. Do you have any third-party plug-ins installed?

I forgot to mention that im using an older version of AE 22.3, because with the Version 23.0 was completely impossible to work. It wouldnt even start previewing the video.
