Zoom direction is completely inverted in After Effects for Windows

Zoom dragging your mouse to the right and left should zoom in and out respectively. I'm not sure what happened in the latest update or if there's a shortcut that somehow inverts zoom drection but this has been driving me crazy. On windows, zoom works as it should in illustrator. It also works correctly on my macbook. So what's the deal? Is there a hotkey that inverts zoom direction? 

My Magnification settings are smooth, centered, and pans. These the exact same on my mac.

    Hey mods, you can delete this or report a possible bug I may have found. 

    The zoom direction issue occurred while using AE on one of two monitors on my PC. If i use AE using a one monitor workspace on the non-main display, the zoom mouse direction gets inverted (Right -> zooms out, Left -> Zooms in). However, if I use AE in a two monitor setup where the comp panel is by itself, with the timeline, and everything else, on my 'main display' then it's fine. I like having the flexibility, and the ease of use having AE wherever I put it. It's strange that AE completely inverts the zoom drag direction.
