23.1 fails to install from Creative Cloud on M1 Max MacBook Pro OS 12.6

I am simply clicking update on the Adobe Creative Cloud as I normally would to update software to get this error.

I have tried deleting stored info, CCX processes and surrounding folders, deleting all old app info, but to no avail. The install fails at around 92%.

 I worked with Adobe support on a screenshare, but they weren't able to solve the problem yet.

Also, (I'm not sure if this is related) projects created with beta 23.0 will not open in After Effects official release version. Is that because the release has not yet caught up to version 23.0?
