AE Beta 22.3.0 Low Performace

While working with only a few 3d layers in basic 3D, not only panel redimension is extremely slow, also it seems the composition gets weird proportions in the display. Even though the scaling dimension is not changed.
Video preview attached.
My system: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU // 32gb RAM // Nvidia RTX 2060
Latest After Effects update 22.2.0 suffers the same issue!

Thank you for the quick feedback and notes Jessica. Even without an eta, they are helpful.

I wish the Adobe UserInvoice worked as good as these forums 😉

Anyway, i much aprreciate the team atention into understand better this bug and solve it. In plain 2022 with all the computing power and gpu advances, seen in aplications working in realtime, (even in the browser) for 3d geometry display, simulations, computation, etc..
Its so akward and frustrating working in a software that struggles so much to display a few 3D cards or a shape layers.

Again, thank you for the feedback.
    All the best,
    Nuno

    Hello Marco + Nuno,

We have some investigation happening on this and one of our teams internally is working towards solving this issue.  I unfortunatly can not give an eta, but I am going to put this link in our internal tickets so once things become available in beta we can post an update here and see how the improvements work for you.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, our team appreciates you taking the time to do this.

    All the best,
    Jessica

    Hi Jessica,

If I remember correctly the issue started when new 3D Gizmos have been introduced, in fact I just turned them off and responsiveness gets back, so I suppose who should look into 3d gizmo itself.

Thanks for the workaround. I really hope you fix this soon, cause disabling 3D controls make work with 3D impossible.

    Hello Nuno and Marco,

Thanks for taking the time to post here, including your system details and the excellent example video.

We will be investigating on our side if this is an issue we introduced recently, since you mentioned it being in 2022.2 + 2022.3 (beta and release), or if it is a more long standing issue.

I was discussing this with John, one of our QE (Quality Engineer), and he gave it a try, finding that disabling overlays ( View > Show Layer Controls ) allowed responsiveness to return immediately.

We have work in general to do for the responsiveness of interacting with the UI and know this needs improvement. With your post, we have some specific interactions to investigate to make sure we aren't making things worse on our way to making things better.

Thanks for posting this and I will get back to you after we investigate a bit more internally on the timing for this specific performance issue.

    All the best,

    Jessica
