After Effects rendering issue

I have been using AE Beta and having no issues until I've tried rendering out some animated 3d objects and seem to have some weird ghost purple boxes that are not on the original file, anyone know a work around for this?

Hi @defaultqbesi3lt7hjs,

Thanks for filing this bug.

Could you DM me the project file and models? Our devs want to have a closer look at the details here.

Also, does this problem occur only when you are previewing the comp inside of After Effects, or does it occur when you render for export (via the Render Queue or AME)?

The devs looked at the video provided and they feel like they have a general understanding of what is happening. tl;dr As After Effects is refreshing the models for each rendered frame, these placehold images and being rendered in until the final render is delivered by the engine.

We've done some work recently to minimize this and more is coming in the future. Inspecting what's happening in your project will help us understand if this is part of the work we're planning to do or if it's something new we need to look at.

Please also re-test this in upcoming releases of After Effects Beta to see if our current changes have improved this.

I've just figured out a workaround of such, turning on and off the layers in different ways has managed to make a fix of a way so this is telling me it's a AE error.

That's probably some hardware acceleration issue. Check your graphics driver and update it if necessary. That being said, of course it's still Beta and this could simply be a bug that's not yet fixed. Refer to the release notes.
