built a house of card in 3d and everything was fine now a "Jazzy" pattern has suddenly appeared

I made double sided cards and built up 3d house of cards. Lit them etc and used custom view camera with advanced 3d... everthing was fine. then out of the blue The card surfaces got a pixelated jazzy pattern on them. Help!!!
