Can't launch 23.5x12

I did track down today's log file (maybe I had turned on logging in the past) and there's this font stuff in there:

I notice that the AdobeCleanUX folder doesn't seem to exist in the Support Files folder--don't know if that's relevant.

I think I knew how to do that at one time, but I've lost track of the instructions.

I did fix something, or perhaps I should say that John Columbo was having this problem as well and we were able to partially find an answer for him.

In his case it was Adobe Clean UX which was mysteriously throwing a fit - but not on other systems, and not for other people either. So that was weird.

The code change I made was to wrap the offending call and when it fails do something different but also log the font that I had to work around.

@Dan Ebberts Do you know how to turn on logging and find/view the file? I would like to know what font it complained about for you.

FYI, after holding at 23.4x48 for a while, I tried 23.5x27 today and it launches fine. So I'm guessing whatever it was is fixed now.

If the splash screen is to be believed, Bookman Old Style Italic is the last font being processed and presumably the likely trigger.

I would like to test with this font. Can you contact me directly - douglas.waterfall@adobe.com

You have retreated to a previous build of AE - if you are able, can you disable this font on your system and re-launch to see if you can get by it?

After Effects Engineering

I think the last thing I saw was that it was trying to load fonts when it disappeared, but things were moving pretty fast. I used an InDesign script to print out a list of installed fonts, but this forum won't let me post a .txt file.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, 32GB, NVIDIA Quadro K2200 with driver 31.0.15.2849. Did I leave anything out?
