Clicking on an item in Project Panel after a Comment is highlighted jumps to a random item

Steps to reproduce:

1.  In the Project Panel, click on an item's Comment (doesn't matter whether or not there's anything in the Comment field) so it's highlighted.
2. Click on an item's name (could be the same item if you like) in the Project Panel.
    
   Result:

Instead of selecting the item you just clicked on, AE seems to select a random item. This is the same in the beta version of AE or in the release version.

Expected:

Selection should be the item I clicked on.
