There's an annoying flickering pehnomena on the shadows when rendering 3D objects with fast camera motion. Even if I rasie the render qaulity to 50, set the Shadow Resolution to Full and shadow softenss to 20 it still shows.

I am having the same issue in AE 25.1.0. Did you ever find any workaround? Did Adobe look into this? I have a 3D model of an office chair rolling through the frame and I have ended up rendering the floor shadows in a separate pass and blurring them significantly to hide the flickering.

Thanks Brian,

I modified the comp based on your suggestions and it had a minor affect on the result. Attahched a link to the second render. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'm happy to share with you the project if you want to take a closer look at it.

Hi Eran

You could also experiment with changing the size of the Casting Box to make sure it's only around the objects you need shadows on. The next thing we suggest is increasing the resolution of the shadows to Double. Please let us know if this helps!
