Font preview menu still does not work

Some years ago, I reported a bug that the previews in the font menu are not always working. This bug still exists in 24.1.0x66:

Cherry Blossoms, for example, should be a hand-drawn scripty font.

Also, a feature request: Make the font menu's width responsive to the width of the panel. As you can see in this screenshot, there is no way of knowing (other than clicking on the font menu) if I have Copperplate Gothic Bold or Light selected, because the end of the font name is cropped off:

(You'll also notice that Courier's preview is clearly not Courier.)

And one more thing: This font preview size is "extra large" according to AE. Contrast this to Photoshop's largest setting (this image has probably been scaled down by this forum)...which also previews the fonts correctly. Can't you just duplicate the code from Photoshop's font menu system in AE?
