hitting tab jumps to random location

When typing to edit layer transform parameters in the Properties window, hitting tab jumps to the Effects window search field. Convention suggests that it should jump to the next parameter.
For example, I'm typing a number to edit the x position, then hit tab wanting to now edit the y position without going back to my mouse, and expect the y position to be the focus for typing.

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Select the position.x Layer Transform parameter in the Properties window.

   2. Type a number.

   3. Hit tab

Result:
The search field of the Effects window is the focus for keyboard.

Expected:

The position.y parameter is the focus for the keyboard.

Successive tabs should cycle through the parameters of the Properties window.

Hi @jamesb60275343,

Thank you for reporting this issue! We are also able to reproduce this issue and now have a bug open to investigate a future fix.

For the reference of others, this appears to only occur on macOS and only when there are multiple stacked panels expanded, as in the OP's example.

Thanks again,

- John, After Effects Engineering Team
