When you reopen file with torus or sphere mesh with sbsar meaterial texture, taht meshes does not display materials. Cube mesh is applied and displayed correctly. To see material on the sphere or torus I have to manually change material to other and switch back to the initially applied.

GPU 5070 Ti.

Hi everyone,

This issue should be fixed in the latest public beta of AE. Can you let us know if your projects now open with the SBSARs online?

AE Version 26.0 Build 36.
After reloading the only way to reappear of the some materials (wood.sbsar : https://substance3d.adobe.com/community-assets/assets/0e9fb775f0290524bc88b5b6f125e6669492e060) is to click Randomize button.

Super! I have one more suggestion/idea/request. Some materials accept externally specified textures. You can specify png, jpg, or ai from the available assets imported into the project. It works great (except for the reported bug). If we could add... composition, we would have animated textures (animations + video)! In addition, it would be hardware-supported by the GPU. Then there would be no need to mess around with linked compositions to the plane and moved back far enough so that they don't flicker, not to mention that such animation would also be possible on surfaces with complex shapes. And it would be a complete simplification to directly specify an asset or comp as a material along with its attributes.

We're looking into this. Thanks for the reports!

The only solution I've found for me is to REDOWNLOAD the textrue, replace the existing .sbsar file and THEN manually redo all the textures. Very tedious.

I'll add that in AE I duplicated my .sbsar (just command D in the project window) to apply different colors to the textrue via the material pannel. Perhaps this is causing the .sbsar to corrupt?

Other textures in the project still work. Its only the one I have duplicates of that has broken.

Same issue for me. Bumping for visibility

same issure here. Randomly AE looses the connection to the shader. When playing around with the parameters sometimes it works again. Sometimes the paramter channel freezes and AE restart is the only way to make it work again.

The same is with GLB file and chcged materials. After reopen I have to switch back to the Default material, then to the changed one.
