Has anyone else come across this?

AE won't start just keeps erroring this and creating dump files on desktop 😕😕

Been testing the Beta since it was open to public, first time something like this happend. I thought maybe it was a faulty build they released but in the last week there were already two new updates and the error is still showing 😞

Just a "Maxon Cinema 4D R25" in Program Files - renaming it doesn't help, but it seems obvious as that's the Cinema from AE 2023.

But that got me thinking - one of these times I think I saw an error pop up when AE Beta was updating saying that "This application needs AVX instruction to run" or something like that. It was just an error window not connected to anything and it quickly disappeared by itself. I thought it was just a fluke, as it never showed again, but maybe it's an error from the new Cinema 4D 2023 installer. It didn't get installed, hence no folder in Program Files, and now maybe that's why AE Beta is not launching, it expects a Cinema 2023 installation but there is none?

We recently upgraded Cinema 4D to version 2023, and there appears to be a dependency on certain CPU functionalities that may be causing a crash on startup. Could you try renaming the Maxon Cinema 4D 2023 folder (it'll be in C:\Program Files\) so it's called ~Maxon Cinema 4D 2023 and then try starting up AE. See if that helps?
