Unable to cancel motion tracker

I'm using AE Beta 24.2.0x66.

I'm currently waiting for some tracking to complete on a ~30sec clip. The track points have gone way off, but there's no way to cancel the tracking, regardless of what I press/click. Clicking the 'stop' icon in the Tracker panel does nothing, hitting Esc does nothing...AE is completely unresponsive, but is continuing to do the track (even though the track points are totally useless).

    I had this same issue again today, but the clip I was tracking was stretched to 251% in the comp. I wonder if that was causing the issue? The tracker ignored the in and out points of the layer, and continued to track until the end of the clip.
