Viewer does not update when playhead is moved.

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Immediately upon opening the app the viewer will show the frame the playhead is on. Once the blue text boxes appear to highlight the updates being added to AE - the viewer stops responding. If I change comps, the viewer is blank. Same gray as the UI.
